The Roomie Glide bedside cot is an innovative product made by English brand Joie. It was designed to allow you to sleep with your partner without sharing the bed. It comes with an easy glide that glides smoothly and gently to help soothe your baby to sleep without having to leave your bed. A glide lock is included that locks the glide in position when your child is asleep. There are also safety straps that ensure it stays securely attached to your bed, as well as retractable wheels that let you move it as you wish to.
The curvaceous cocoon design with softly padded sides and double-mesh windows increase the security and comfort of your little sleeper. It is also simple to assemble or disassemble making it perfect for travel and packing. The cot is easy to wipe clean and comes with a machine washable mattress cover. Additional cotton sheets are available in packs of two.
Roanna loved the cotbed and said it was "a high quality buy". She liked that the gliding motion was soft and soothed her to sleep. She felt that the design was very stylish and would fit with the majority of bedroom decors. She did mention that it is ideal for newborns but once they reach six months, you will require a bigger cot.
She also liked that the side panel that slides could be lifted by one hand, which meant she could quickly answer wake-up calls from her bed to feed or soothe her infants. It also comes with an extremely sturdy mattress and base which can be easily cleaned up after spit-ups, blowouts and other mishaps that happen with infants. It also includes a machine washable mattress to keep it clean.
The bedside cot can rotate 360 degrees, allowing you to be closer to your child's for a secure sleeping. Its mattress is also 50% more breathable than standard foam mattresses, and is tested to highest British safety standards. The crib also converts into a bed (kit sold separately), making it an ideal sleep solution for toddlers and newborns.
